INTERPREting

  • Interpret at meetings, events and conferences for international corporations, the Department of State and local governments

  • Provide interpreting at depositions, arbitrations, attorney-client consultations and other legal settings

  • Interpret for Japanese directors, actors and artists at film screenings, Q&As and other events at art institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of the Moving Image and Lincoln Center

Translating

  • Translate business plans, meeting minutes, articles and websites for leading U.S. and Japanese companies 

  • Translation of best-selling business books and cultural books, and creating subtitles for documentaries

  • Translation of International PEN Club short stories and creation of supertitles for Japanese plays 

Writing

  • Contribute articles to corporate websites like WeWork and maintain Japan-related blog WIT Life

  • Former journalist at Nikkei Business, Japan's premier weekly business magazine

  • Former writer for Chopsticks, a monthly magazine that focused on Japanese culture in NY, and former columnist for weekly newspaper Shukan NY Seikatsu's Voices from the New Yorkers
